I passed my microbiology and immunology exam with the second highest grade and my bachelor project with the highest = I am the happiest person on earth right now. Inner me is running around like a headless chicken XD I've now got vacation without bad "I should be studying" feelings until Monday. That is so awesome. This was the semester from Hell; 6 weeks microbiology and immunology, exam (I failed myself on that one) 3 weeks epidemiology and biostatistics, exam 1 week to write bachelor 3 weeks pathology, exam 1 week pharmacology Christmas 2 weeks pharmacology, exam (this was last Monday) Last Friday: defense of my bachelor Today

OBITUARY FOR THE LATE MR. COMMON SENSE Today we mourn the passing of a beloved old friend, Common Sense, who has been with us for many years. No one knows for sure how old he was, since his birth records were long ago lost in bureaucratic red tape. He will be remembered as having cultivated such valuable lessons as: Knowing when to come in out of the rain; why the early bird gets the worm; Life isn't always fair; and Maybe it was my fault. Common Sense lived by simple, sound financial policies (don't spend more than you can earn) and reliable strategies (adults, not children, are in charge). His health began to deteriorate rapidly when wel

I passed the written anatomy exam from December! I'm so happy you can't believe it (I've even been doing little happy dances XD) Now there's only one exam left for me and it's this Monday and I'm really looking forward to it. I can't wait to see what I get. It's microscopic anatomy so I draw two preparations (glass slates with tissue) and basically have to figure out from which part of the body they are from by looking in a microscope :D It's all about recognizing different cell types and being able to tell from how the cells arrange themselves into specific tissue types, what they do. It's a complex but super interesting subject ;) For th

Wow.I- I haven't seen anyone (well, not that I know anyone, deviantartist - fanfictionwriter - friend - person - stranger) who could draw AND write SO FREAKING DAMN WELL in my life. Okay, well, maybe I kinda exaggerated a bit, your drawings are average, your proportions on anatomy and eyes and face and stuff- your Itachi looks kinda weird-but well, not that I have any say, since my drawings come out epic FAIL most of the time but I totally liked your pic, 'My Precious Little Brother' from 'wish'
Usually, I search the Internet for people I want to draw and my friend said I cheated. Uhh... kinda weird. But I think it's kinda hard to draw the person I want without making the most obvious mistakes so...shit, I'm rambling. Anyway, my advice is that you should search the person you want to draw, and if your drawing the face, um, to improve , you could search DA for guides on how to draw them evenly, unless your drawing a child, their eyes should be larger compared to their face, since they're still young. I hope you won't take offense to my criticism and my views. And um...PLEASE DON'T KILL ME!!!!! I'M TOO YOUNG TO DIE!!!! and Happy Writing AND drawing! :)
Haha, thanks^^ Don't worry I don't take offense, I'm quite aware that my drawing style is all over the place and proportions are an issue. But you know I'd also like to point out that my deviantart gallery isn't exactly representative of what I actually draw on an everyday basis XD

Most of the time I don't even draw people (animals; foxes and dragons are my favorites) and when I do it's usually not me trying to recreate specific characters, just random sketches during lectures; oh that's an eye maybe there should be a face for it, that sort of thing :P

My Precious Little Brother was created from all the overflowing feelings I had from writing and I consider it one of my better experiments when it comes to coloring, so I'm still quite fond of it and glad you like it too ;)
I see.So... care to give me a link on just WHAT you draw on an everyday basis? ;P
Well you asked for it [link] my latest what I consider a successful sketch. Actually a remake of something I did digitally on my iPad during a double lecture in immunology a few weeks ago, but then it got deleted somehow. I was heartbroken because I'd actually started coloring and couldn't for the life of me recreate it :'(
After a cool down period I sort of just picked up my old friends pen and paper and redid it. Still miss the colors though. I'd found this delightful acid green that contrasted real well with these bright pink colors for the flower and yeah I still want to do it, but I'm considering an actual real life painting. Dunno, not too much experience there.
